miss A’s Jia injures her leg

miss A’s Jia injured her leg prior to the group’s comeback stage.
On the 21st, the girls were recording their chair performance for the intro part of their comeback stage at Mnet’s “M! Countdown“. During the recording, Jia twisted her leg.
Her company said, “We finished filming but she felt more pain in her leg afterwards so we took her to get acupuncture. She has a little trouble with walking but it’s not bad enough to get a cast.”
The rep continued, “If she doesn’t put too much force on it, there won’t be a problem getting on stage. She didn’t get severely hurt so she can walk a little even as of now. We will keep taking care of it and check the status later to decide what to do about tomorrow’s stage.”
Jia also posted on her Weibo (Chinese micro blog), “I fell while dancing at the comeback stage! But I’m fine because I got immediate treatment! Look, it doesn’t hurt anymore! lol I’m sorry I worried you! Have fun with our stage! I think you’ll like it! ^_^”
Fans commented, “I was worried”, “Have a good short break”, “Today’s stage was the best”.

miss A’s Min explains why she couldn’t join ‘Immortal Song 2′

miss A’s Min was previously included in the initial line-up for KBS’s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ but the appearance was canceled due to her preparations for miss A’s comeback.
Sitting down with Newsen, Min explained why she couldn’t join the lineup. ”Because of our comeback, we had a lot of recordings and rehearsals scheduled. I wasn’t able to join the show because it didn’t fit into my schedule.”
When asked whether she would like to join now if she had the chance, she said,I don’t. I felt so pressured with our comeback. It wasn’t even enough to put 100% into our comeback preparations, and I knew that I wouldn’t be able to focus on two different things with a program on top of that.”
She added, “But I would like to join the program when miss A is on hiatus.”

AQ Entertainment plays down Suzy’s ‘garter belt outfit’

Netizens have been engaging in a war of words over Suzy’s seemingly-inappropriate garter belt from her stage outfit.
On July 21st, miss A held their comeback stage on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdownand performed their title song ‘Good Bye Baby‘.
The girls showcased their mature charms during the performance, as emphasized by their sexy choreography and form-fitting stage outfits.
Suzy’s outfit, however, unexpectedly caught more attention from viewers because of an accessory on her thigh. The young teen wore what appeared to be a garter belt, which had many viewers commenting over how it looked a little risque for a 17-year-old to wear on TV.
miss A’s agency responded by saying, “What Suzy wore was not a garter belt, but a device to fix her microphone [to her leg].
Netizens have commented, “I can’t believe miss A is facing a ‘garter belt controversy’ like After School” and “How can they make Suzy wear something like that?
Is this scandalous, or just an over-reaction? Toss us your thoughts below.

miss A on their comeback preparations, “Good Bye Baby”, and growth as women

The biggest rookies of 2010 have finally jumped into 2011 with their first official album, “A Class“! Having swept a number of awards last year, the girls have returned with a more mature and chic image, as well as plenty of songs to satiate their patient fans with.
They recently sat down for an interview with Mydaily to discuss their thoughts on their comeback preparations.
==
Suzy began,We didn’t think that we’d rank first on the charts, so we’re all very glad. I was able to feel the anticipation that our fans built while they were waiting for us, but it was also a lot of pressure. It’s only natural to be disappointed if you carry high expectations, so I was scared of our fans’ reaction in case we weren’t able to deliver as much as we had last year. I thought that it’d be fortunate if we had achieved similar results to last year’s, but I was still nervous in case we did worse. It was like laying down to sleep, but feeling like you shouldn’t be sleeping.”
Fortunately, “Good Bye Baby” is already on a roll both in album sales and with the amount of attention it’s garnering. Produced by J.Y. Park, the song is addictive in that it incorporates a hip hop rhythm with drum beats.
miss A explained, “‘Bad Girl Good Girl‘ portrayed the image of a girl complaining about love while telling men to ’shut off’. This time, it’s about a girl who’s able to throw away a man without regrets and without feeling upset over the loss. After ‘Breathe‘, we’ve transformed into women for the first time in 10 months. Even those around us told us, ‘You’ve turned into women’, and ‘I can feel the aura of a woman from you.’”

Chinese members Fei and Jia said, “Before, we used to write the Chinese lyrics next to our Korean lyrics to better understand it, but we’ve been working hard on our Korean since then and are able to express the emotions behind the lyrics in our recordings. Now, no matter what lyrics we sing, we’re able to bring in 80% of the emotions from the song’s lyrics into our singing.”
Commenting on how they worked with actor Kim Nam Jin for their music video, Jia said, “It was fun. I had a dream for acting, and I really wanted to act whenever I monitored Suzy’s drama. It was a rare opportunity for me so I truly did my best for the music video.”
Speaking on the album itself, the girls stated, “The album’s concept, outfits, choreography, and songs all feature participation by us to better show off our colors. Last year, we focused on singing, but with this album, we worked to show the artist side of us. It’s still early, but we’ll slowly build our experience up to the point where we can compose and write lyrics.”
The girls concluded the interview by choosing a triple crown as this album’s goal. Considering their achievements last year, it definitely shouldn’t be a hard goal to achieve!

2PM and miss A perform Clon’s “KungTari Shabara” on Inkigayo

Inkigayo has prepared another special stage involving 2PM and miss A for their Summer Special!
Another special stage beckoned this week, with 2PM and miss A coming together for a performance of Clon’s techno dance pop song, “KungTari Shabara“.
With 2PM saying goodbye and miss A starting their comeback promotions this week, it made for a wonderful stage together. Check it out below!

miss A makes a “Good Bye Baby” comeback on Inkigayo

Having made a stunning debut more than a year ago with “Bad Girl Good Girl“, the miss A girls are finally back with their first album “A Class” and its title track, “Good Bye Baby“.
Their title track “Good Bye Baby” is an expression of a woman’s cool indifference to a man who’s breaking up with her. The track has a dynamic chorus melody, featuring the same base as their debut track, “Bad Girl Good Girl“, but with a few twists that make it stand alone.
Although the melody sounds upbeat, the song actually has a toned sound, giving it an overall calm feeling. Perhaps the song’s strongest characteristic is where the girls are singing as if they’re whispering, acting out the words to the listener.
Check out their comeback stage on today’s episode of Inkigayo below which begun with a performance of the silver mix version before their actual version!
